Accounts Receivable Clerk

Full-Time | Eagan, MN, US

Apply cash, collect past due balances from customers, assist with monthly reporting, and more as an accounts receivable clerk at Bay and Bay! This position is part of the accounting team. You must be proficient with Excel and Word, have good communication skills, and be a dependable team member.

Responsibilities include: 

• Applying cash received via check, lockbox and ACH.
• Communicating with customers who are past due to reduce outstanding AR.
• Producing and maintain Excel / Word reports.
• Assisting with month end reporting.
• Assist with accounting tasks as needed.  

Required Experience and Education:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a collections/cash application role required.
• Experience a trucking/logistics company preferred.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Excel and Word           
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication & verbal skills.  
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. 
• Ability to resolve problems.  
• Highly motivated.
