Transportation Trainee (Operations/Sales Specialist)

Description:

The position is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in getting into the sales field in the Transportation industry. This role we will provide you with the necessary skills with the ultimate goal of becoming a National Account Manager (NAM) with Bay & Bay. You will be part of meetings with experienced NAM to learn tips and tricks. You will learn how to prospect and build a pipeline of customers. You will learn techniques on pitching and closing deals and others to ensure your success in your future role as a NAM.

Responsibilities Include:

• Learn all facets of Bay & Bay’s Brokerage division (operations and customer service)
• Participate in sales meetings
• Maintain accurate record of sales leads in Bay & Bay system
• Introduce prospective clients to Bay & Bay

Experience and Education:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal, communication & verbal skills.  
• Excellent computer skills and ability to pick up quickly on new technology
• Highly motivated.              
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. 
• Ability to resolve problems.
