Accounts Receivable Clerk

This position located in Eagan is part of the Accounting team that is responsible for applying cash and collecting past due balances from Customers. You must be proficient with Excel and Word, and have good communication skills, as well as be computer proficient and dependable. 

Salary Range: $21.00 To $23.00 Hourly

Position Description:

Position Title:  Accounts Receivable Clerk

Department: Accounting

Location: Eagan, MN

Reports To: Credit Collections Manager

Responsibilities include:

• Applying cash received via check, lockbox and ACH.
• Communicating with customers who are past due to reduce outstanding AR.
• Producing and maintain Excel / Word reports.
• Assisting with month end reporting.
• Assist with accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements include:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a collections/cash application role preferred.
• Experience a trucking/logistics company preferred.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Excel and Word           
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication & verbal skills.  
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. 
• Ability to resolve problems.  
• Highly motivated.
