Is Your Shipment Over-Dimensional?

Not every load fits neatly within standard legal limits. If your shipment is bigger than usual, it might be considered over-dimensional, which means it requires extra planning, permits, and specialized equipment to move safely.

A shipment is generally considered over-dimensional if:

  • It’s longer than 53 feet
  • It’s wider than 8.5 feet
  • It’s taller than 13.5 feet

Moving oversized freight isn’t just about finding the right trailer—it’s about making sure the entire route works. Bridges, tunnels, stoplights, and state regulations all come into play. The bigger the load, the more details that need to be factored in.

Our team takes care of everything, from selecting the right equipment to planning the safest and most efficient route. If you’re not sure whether your shipment qualifies as over-dimensional, reach out—we’ll help you figure it out and find the best way to get it where it needs to go.
