Bay & Bay Transportation (Bay and Bay) further invests and focuses on the Refrigerated Trucking and Multi-Modal Logistics segments by acquiring a Midwest facility and divesting the Tank Trucking division.
Since the 1970’s, Bay and Bay has been offering tank transportation services to the Midwest market in addition to their national refrigerated trucking and logistic services. Effective October 2, 2022, the tank trucking segment operating out of Burnsville, MN has been acquired by the McCoy Group (MGI), parent company of a tank transportation market leader Foodliner Inc.

We appreciate and respect all of our team members that are part of this change, and we believe Foodliner and the McCoy family can provide our Bay & Bay tank trucking team with great opportunities in the future.” Foodliner continues to operate the tank trucking business out of the Burnsville, MN facility. Bay and Bay’s dedicated trucking teams have moved to the company’s Eagan, MN facility.
The Refrigerated Trucking and the Multi-Modal Logistics segments at Bay and Bay have grown on-average more than 30% annually the past three years, making it one of the largest logistics providers among Refrigerated Trucking companies in the US. This divestiture allows Bay and Bay to further focus and invest in Refrigerated Trucking and Multi-Modal Logistics, which make up 97% of annual revenue.
Recently, Bay and Bay acquired a facility in northern Indiana. Along with the Midwest terminal, Bay and Bay invested in additional equipment and welcomed northern Indiana team members.
